Trattoria Casa di Modica in Cologne

My favorite Italian in Cologne! Excellent pasta dishes and great antipasti. At the moment (during Corona) you can pick up food at noon. Also highly recommended! Kudos and thanks to the Casa di Modica team! :)

No matter what we have eaten there so far ... it was so delicious! The Aperol tastes like vacation and the staff is super attentive and nice!

We were at Casa di modica for the first time yesterday and all three were really impressed. Great staff, really friendly and accommodating and the food was just amazing. We are vegans and it was no problem to adapt the dishes. Price / performance ratio is definitely right. This morning we talked again about how great the visit yesterday was, it was by far the best truffle pasta we have had in a long time. When I think about it, it was the best truffle pasta I've ever had! Thank you very much, will definitely be back :)

Simply a great Italian, a bit more expensive but absolutely worth the money!

Service: the guy nice enough, luckily he served us, the lady I think the owner didn't even smile at us FOOD: filet spitzen noodles only tasted like burnt garlic, cod was good but too much butter the rest was ok. : for the food it was also good but a 4.50 sambuca which barely reached 0.2 and a water 7 euro a bit exaggerated. I expected that after complaining about the pasta they would offer me at least a coffee no more. Definitely not typical atmosphere Italian.

In this restaurant, high-quality products are used with care! I also experience warmth that makes me feel at home. That makes a visit a pleasure in every way.

A very nice little restaurant. Very nice boss and very good service ... 5 stars plus. The food is really, really good. Tuna steak perfect. Starters and noodles are real mega. And the ice cream also 5 stars plus. Can and I recommended ... great restaurant

Everything wonderful here, delicious food, good wine, friendly service. I recommend scallops with beetroot carpaccio and tagliatelle with chanterelles. We would love to come back!

Authentic Italian cuisine with charming staff. Antipasti, pasta and dessert were individually prepared top. Considering the location, the price-performance ratio is terrific. Clear recommendation. Due to the cozy size, you should make a reservation.

Were there for lunch again today. Vegetables from the showcase for starters, lamb chops and tuna afterwards. And for about 22 euros. Unbeatable in terms of quality. Always my pleasure.

Good wine selection ..... card comes to the table and is explained on request .... Before and main courses delicious and nicely presented .... for dessert I had a tiramisu ..... but unfortunately only 2 stars deserves ...... price performance okay ..... service very good ..... overall highly recommended ....

One if the best Italian restaurant in cologne

Very good Italian. Prices are reasonable and the quality and taste are high quality. Day ticket is brought to the order at the table (large board). To ask for the 0,2l house wine 8 euros, I find clearly too high, there is a star deduction. Nevertheless, I will come back soon

Excellent service and splendid food. We had the paiarda, giant prawn pasta and veal liver, and the taste of all dishes was just amazing, super flavorsome and cooked to the point. The Stade was not only friendkt but also super attentive.

Delicious traditional Italian food, and good, friendly service. I had a wonderful ossobucco which I won't forget in a while. Make sure you have enough time: food will take a while to be ready, and you'll want to have the time to enjoy it.

Good food but had to wait for long time

Never before have I sent so many dishes back to the kitchen. In vitello tonato the sauce was overdue and felt sparkly in the mouth. In buratta we found a plastic piece of packaging. The wine came at the temperature of 30 degrees. The steaks and the fish were fine, but nothing worth revisiting. The stuff was rather pleasant thou, but couldn't make up for the bad food experience.

Came here last year when the Xmas markets were on - one of the best meals I've ever had
